Keshi

This picture in a way is a very graphic photo from the 5th century, this photo reminds me of hurccles. The man in the photo is Krishna who  battles the demon keshi. Keshi the demon has been holding krishnas people captive. The demon doesn't look like how we see a demon but instead he is said to be a horse. Krishna uses one foot to hold him in place while he shoves his arm down the demon's throat. Underneath the  fighters looks to be another dead fighter, possibly a demon. The battle between keshi and krishnas also appears in the tenth Book of the Bhagavata Purana. Keshi knew he was bound to be killed by  Krishna so he sent other demons to try and kill him first.

  1. Hello Kaleb, this is an interesting story about Krishna and Keshi the demon. I like how you described the history behind the artwork but I think you could have added more detail about the sculpture itself. Maybe include what is is made out of, who created it, and when this sculpture was created. Do you know where the sculpture is located and what it is used for today? Overall, you chose a very interesting piece and if you just expand a little more on your writing you will be great.
